Are you our next Workshop Junior?

Roadrunner are currently looking for a full time Workshop Junior to carry out basic workshop duties. You might be a school leaver looking to start your career in a industry full of opportunities or someone who is just keen to get into the industry.

We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who has the ability to think on their feet and work as part of a team or alone. Prior workshop experience/exposure is a bonus but not essential as Roadrunner will provide full training to the successful applicant. There is also the potential to move forward into a apprenticeship for the right person.

You’ll get to work with a great bunch of people in our well-equipped workshop housing some of the latest manufacturing technology!

We are on the lookout for an Aluminium Fabricator!

Position Description:

The Aluminium Fabricator is to assist in the manufacture of all products and services provided by the company, including laying out, cutting, shaping, fitting, measuring and welding metals to create the required to design specification. The work is often detailed and requires the Welder Fabricator to be knowledgeable of many techniques, tools and metal finishing techniques. You will be required to read and understand workshop drawings, procedures and have a focus on Health and Safety.


To succeed in this position, you must have a can-do attitude & have the ability to think on your feet and work as part of a team or alone. 

You will also be able to demonstrate the following skill set. Industry specific experience not essential as Roadrunner will provide all product and process training to the successful applicant.

• Experience in Aluminium Tig Essential (aluminium and steel Mig experience would be an advantage)
• Relevant trade experience (trade certificate not essential)
• Good communication skills
• Great time management skills
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• General knowledge of common workshop machinery and hand tools
• A strong commitment to upholding Health and Safety standards

In return, you’ll get to work with a great bunch of people in our well-equipped workshop housing some of the latest manufacturing technology including two CNC Abrasive Waterjet cutters, a 200 ton 4M CNC press brake, and Fronius and EWM welding machines. This role is a full time position working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 4pm with regular overtime available.
